Piper Warrior PA28-161

The Piper Warrior is a bigger model of the popular Cherokee series. The faster speed of these aircraft means they are ideal for cross-country and taking friends or family for a flight.

Piper Arrow PA28R-200

The Piper Arrow is renowned as a fast, retractable undercarrage, single engine aircraft capable of carrying 4 people in relative speed and comfort. It is the Club’s fastest single engine aircraft.

Piper Super Cub PA18

The Piper Super Cub is a classic 1950s tail dragger aircraft. It is not usually flown during training but is available for type-rating and tail dragger experience once you have your licence. This aircraft has a long history and is widely known to aviators all over New Zealand.

Alpha A160a

The A160a is used as for basic training, unusual attitude/spin recovery and as a touring aircraft. It Is also popular with those keen to learn Aerobatics.

Piper Cherokee PA28-140

The Piper Cherokee is a world famous aircraft due to its comfort and reliability. It makes a great trainer or tourer. The club has a long and successful history with the Cherokee 140.

Piper Archer PA28-181

The Piper Archer is the largest model in the popular Cherokee series. The faster speed of these aircraft means that they are ideal for cross country and initial training towards the instrument rating.

We have two Archer 3’s equipped with glass cockpits and Autopilot systems.

Also, three new Archer TX’s with Garmin G1000 Avionic Suites, ready for the future of IFR training.

Cessna 172

The Cessna 172 is a popular aircraft and is renowned industry wide as a reliable smooth and extremely well performing aircraft. A lot of our Club members choose to gain a rating in the Cessna to gain experience in a high wing aircraft and to take friends and family on scenic flights.

Partenavia P68C

The Partenavia is our primary twin-engine trainer and is a relatively easy to handle, entry level twin engine aircraft.

Piper Tomahawk PA38-112

The Piper Tomahawk is a versatile, two seat training aircraft used for basic training and touring. The Tomahawk is an excellent choice for PPL or CPL training.
